Course and beneficiaries
The course uses roadways and paved trails and is described as relatively flat. It highlights local landmarks including the Bill Emerson Bridge, Common Pleas Courthouse, and Old St. Vincent's Church, and it finishes at the riverfront near Century Casino. Proceeds benefit local non-profits that work to improve regional health and well-being. Since the event began, organizers report more than $100,000 has been donated to local non-profits, and they plan to continue expanding beneficiaries in Southeast Missouri.
