About the race

The Howard Aslinger Endurance Run is a timed endurance event held in Cape Girardeau, MO, organized by Missouri Running Company and supporting the Howard L. Aslinger Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

Races take place on a USATF referenced, certified paved loop at Arena Park (course certification MO19003DG). The course is described as a flat loop suitable for repeated laps around the park. Packet pick up is available at the 4 H building in Arena Park. A pre race briefing will be held before each event, and a post race meal and entertainment follow the events.

There is one fully stocked aid station offering sports drink, water, pretzels, bananas, potato chips, cookies, and boiled potatoes. Divisions are offered by individual gender and age and include Open, Masters, Senior, Grand Master, and a Wheelchair or Disability division. Proceeds benefit the Howard L. Aslinger Memorial Scholarship Foundation, which awards scholarships to candidates for further education and training.
