Purple Paw 5K

The Purple Paw 5K is a community running event held in Jackson, Missouri on March 21, 2026. The event is sponsored annually by the Jackson High School Interact Club, an extension of the Rotary Club of Jackson, and is organized by high school students as a service learning project to benefit their community and school.

Participants may choose between a 5K course and a shorter fun run. Runners and walkers may take part with or without a dog. All proceeds from the event go to Southeast Pets (formerly the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri) and to Rotary International. Registration by February 23 guarantees a t-shirt.

Categories include adult and student divisions for the 5K and a one mile run/walk, plus a volunteer category that receives a t-shirt. The event takes place near East Elementary School and is listed at 455 North Lacey St, Jackson, MO 63755.
