Event Overview

The Purple Paw 5K is sponsored by the Jackson High School Interact Club, an extension of the Jackson Rotary Club. It is organized by high school students as a service learning project.

Distances and Format

The event offers two options for participants:

A 5K run/walk.
A 1-mile fun run/walk. Participants may run or walk with or without a dog.

Beneficiaries and Registration

All proceeds go to Southeast Pets (formerly the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri) and to Rotary International. Registration by March 2 guarantees a t-shirt.
