Fall - Mud Mountain Dam Marathon & Half Marathon - September 19, 2026
The event features a full marathon and a half marathon held in Enumclaw, Washington on September 19, 2026. Both courses follow paved surfaces and run largely downhill along river valleys, farmland, and forested areas.
The full marathon begins at Mud Mountain Dam at an elevation of 1,400 feet and follows a fully paved route that traces the Carbon River through farmland and forest. The marathon finishes in front of the historic McMillin Bridge at roughly 200 feet elevation, for a total net elevation loss of approximately 1,200 feet. The organizers note the course contains no tunnels or unpaved sections and that it is arranged to allow Boston qualifying times without a penalty.
The half marathon begins in South Prairie at about 467 feet elevation and proceeds along the paved Foothills Rail Trail. That route runs alongside the Carbon River through farmland and forest and finishes at the McMillin Bridge at about 128 feet elevation, with a net elevation loss of 339 feet.
Volunteer opportunities are mentioned for future offerings. A tariff surcharge fee is listed as an additional charge on registration materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
