Little Steps, Big Dreams Race - Puyallup, WA
This is the 16th annual Little Steps, Big Dreams race held at Farm 12 in Puyallup. The event includes multiple family-oriented distances and supports Step By Step, an organization serving at-risk pregnant women and their babies. All proceeds benefit Step By Step's programs and local families.
Races start and finish at The Grove, an outdoor preschool off 33rd St. SE. Course routing directs participants through Van Lierop Park and onto the Foothills Trail; the route is subject to change and the official maps will be provided before the event.
Distances:
- 10K run
- 5K walk/run
- 5K walk (not officially timed)
- Kids Dash (6 and under; participants must be with a parent)
A pricing schedule is provided for registration with tiered fees leading up to race day. Participants who register before August 16 are guaranteed a race shirt. Packet pickup is recommended at the Step By Step offices next to Farm 12 Restaurant, 3303 8th Ave SE, Unit A, Puyallup; an additional pickup option is available on race morning at The Grove.
The event includes fundraising activities aimed at a $55,000 goal, a raffle entry for donors of diapers or wipes, and a post-finish celebration with donuts, coffee, treats, and a kids zone. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
