16th Annual Step By Step race
The event is organized by Step By Step and takes place at Farm 12 in Puyallup, Washington. The official start and end locations are at The Grove, an outdoor preschool off 33rd St. SE. Runners and walkers will follow a route that goes through Van Lierop Park and onto the Foothills Trail; the course is subject to change. Distances offered include:
- 10K run
- 5K walk/run (timed)
- 5K walk not officially timed
- Kids Dash for ages 6 and under
A packet pickup window is scheduled at the Step By Step offices next door to Farm 12 Restaurant, 3303 8th Ave SE Unit A, on Thursday, Sept 17 from 9 AM to 7 PM. Race morning packets will also be available at the packet tent at The Grove starting at 6:30 AM. Registrations receive tiered pricing through the event period and registering before August 16 guarantees a race shirt. The event includes post-finish provisions such as donut holes, coffee, and a kids zone. A raffle entry is offered to participants who bring a package of diapers or wipes.
