MTC Pendragon

The MTC Pendragon is a challenging 46-mile ultra marathon held in Wales, forming Day 4 of the six-day CYMRUN Wales end-to-end race. Starting from Llanidloes and finishing at the River Wye Activity Centre in Glasbury, the route follows the scenic National Cycle Route 8, offering spectacular landscapes. The race features multiple checkpoints with food and enforces a minimum pace of 4 mph, with strict cut-off times.

Limited to 20 solo entrants plus 20 CYMRUN participants, finishers receive a bespoke Pendragon medal, with trophies awarded to male and female champions. Participants must carry mandatory gear including navigation tools and safety equipment, ensuring a well-supported yet demanding ultra running experience.
