Race details

Competitor numbers are limited to 20 race-only places plus 20 additional places for CYMRUN entrants, for a maximum of 40 competitors. The event enforces preset cut-off times based on a minimum average speed of 4.0 mph; competitors who fall below this requirement may be withdrawn. The race is cup-free, so competitors should bring a reusable cup. URL issues maps and GPX files to entrants by email about four weeks before the event and provides tracking devices with SOS capability on race day.

Mandatory kit includes a backpack or equivalent, head torch with spare batteries, route maps as provided, compass or GPS device, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and blister treatment, and a waterproof map case. Entry fees are non-refundable: standard entry £90 and a Plus Race Package £155 which includes clothing; personal cancellation insurance and a defer option are available at extra cost. Entrants must be at least 20 years old on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
