MTC Blue Caps

MTC Blue Caps is a 36-mile ultra from Wigan to Tarporley, run as part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge. The route shares the MTC JOGLE path but with shorter daily distances, starting at Premier Inn Wigan North and finishing at The Swan in Tarporley. It runs on Day 4 of the Albion event, so runners may cross paths with Albion participants.

Special features include a cup-free policy, optional apparel upgrade (race shirt and hi-viz jacket), a bespoke finishers medal, and a 40-entry cap. The route is largely unmarked; maps/GPX are provided to entrants four weeks before, and live tracking with SOS is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
