MTC Albion 2029 - Ultra running event
The MTC Albion is a thirteen day end to end ultra marathon across England, part of the Mount to Coast End to End Challenge series. The published race distance is approximately 503 miles, averaging just over 38 miles per day. Each day is run as an individual ultra within the Myths & Legends of England series.

- Day 3 – MTC Black Anise: 38.1 miles
- Day 4 – MTC Blue Caps: 35.5 miles
- Day 5 – MTC Grindelo: 34.5 miles
- Day 6 – MTC Beowulf: 36.2 miles
- Day 7 – MTC Green Skin: 35.5 miles
- Day 8 – MTC Boggle: 39.4 miles
- Day 9 – MTC Vampire: 37.8 miles
- Day 10 – MTC Black Shuck: 45 miles
- Day 11 – MTC Hairy Hands: 53.6 miles
- Day 12 – MTC Will-o-the-Wisp: 38.3 miles
- Day 13 – MTC Merry Maidens: 35 miles
Entries are limited to 20 competitors. Organisers provide personalised technical shirts, a hi‑viz jacket, and a free pair of R1 running shoes to each entrant. Maps and GPX files are issued to entrants only prior to the event and competitors receive a tracking device with SOS capability. Mandatory kit includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, basic first aid and emergency food.
There is a minimum average requirement of 4 mph; falling below this on consecutive days may lead to withdrawal. Competitors must be at least 20 years old and follow the organiser rules, check point procedures and safety instructions. Accommodation is arranged by the organiser from the end of Day 1 to the end of Day 12; competitors must book their own start and post finish accommodation.
