MTC ALBION 2029
The MTC Albion is a thirteen day end to end ultra marathon of England covering 503 miles. The route runs from Gretna Green to Lands End and follows much of the organiser’s JOGLE route with reduced daily distances. Each of the thirteen days is an individual ultra and together they form the Myths & Legends of England series.
The event is limited to 20 competitors. Finishers receive a bespoke Albion trophy, an Albion medal and an additional bespoke medal for each day completed. Competitors receive personalised race shirts, a hi‑viz jacket and a free pair of R1 running shoes from the head sponsor. Accommodation is provided by the organiser for nights after Day 1 through to the end of Day 12; competitors must arrange their own accommodation at the start and after the finish.
Races enforce minimum standards and equipment. Entrants must carry mandatory kit that includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, maps or GPX, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone and a basic first aid kit. The organiser monitors progress and will withdraw competitors who do not meet safety or speed requirements. Entry options include a full entry fee and a charity entry with a reduced deposit in exchange for a fundraising commitment.
