Event Details

The MST 100 Endurance Races take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event features four distances: the 100 Miler, 50 Miler, 50K, and 10 Miler. The races start and finish at the Rolling View Recreation Area in Durham, North Carolina.

Course Information

The MST 100 is a trail ultramarathon. The course is 90% single-track trail on the Mountains to Sea Trail on the south side of Falls Lake, just north of Raleigh. Runners will experience views of Falls Lake, cross several bridges, and often run beside the lake. The total elevation gain is 8,000 feet.

The 50 Mile course follows the 100-mile course for the initial 50K out-and-back section, continues back through Rolling View, and completes another 10-mile out-and-back section towards the dam.

The 50K course begins like the 100-mile and 50-mile races. It consists of a westward out-and-back route that starts and ends at Rolling View Recreation Area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
