MSFC Safety Day 5K
The MSFC Running Club is hosting a Safety Day affiliated 5K race on September 26, 2026, at the Marshall Activities Building 4316 in Huntsville, Alabama. The event is organized by the club and listed as a 5K running race with a registration fee of $15.00. Registration opens July 11, 2026, and closes September 27, 2026.
Access to Redstone Arsenal is required to attend the event. Individuals who already have Redstone Arsenal access may enter as participants. Spectators and volunteers without Arsenal access require a recreational pass issued by the Garrison. The pass must be requested in person at the Gate 9 Visitor Center, located at 4122 Rideout Rd, Huntsville, AL 35808, and applicants must present a Real ID compliant Driver's License when applying. The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is not open on Saturday.
All attendees without prior Arsenal credentials need to obtain the recreational pass before the event. On race day morning, everyone will need to present a Real ID compliant Driver's License for scanning at the Arsenal entry gate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
