MRT Series

MRT 2026 1 Mile

The MRT Series features a 1 mile race held at the Statesville Soccer Complex in North Carolina. This event offers categories for both adult and youth participants. The race takes place on a specific schedule of dates throughout the year and prohibits the presence of dogs on the course.

This competition functions as a segment of the 2026 Championship Series. Participants have the opportunity to accumulate points across 20 scheduled race dates between January and November. To qualify for the Series Championship, runners are required to compete in at least 12 of these 20 races. The points system awards 12 points for first place overall, with descending values for second and third place, as well as specific points for masters and age group placements. All other finishers receive 2 points per race.

Additional incentives are available for high-frequency participation. Runners who complete more than 12 races earn one extra point for each additional event. Those who participate in all 20 races in the series receive five bonus points and a complimentary entry for the 2027 season. At the conclusion of the series, prize money is awarded to the top five male and female championship winners. Nightly awards are also provided for overall winners, masters, and five-year age group categories.
