MRT Series event in Statesville, NC
This event at 2012 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625 offers a sequence of three running races completed by each entrant: a half mile, a one mile, then a half mile. Each restart occurs five minutes after the last person from the previous race completes that race.

There are separate adult and youth entries listed with different registration fees. Registration opens 2026-08-26 and closes 2027-05-03. The listed registration fees are $19.00 for the adult entry and $10.00 for the youth entry.
The event forms part of the 2027 Championship Series. To be eligible for the Series Championship a competitor must race in 10 out of 15 series races. One additional point is awarded for each race beyond 10. Competing in all 15 races earns 5 additional points and a free race for 2028.
Awards and scoring are organized nightly and for the overall championship. Nightly awards cover overall, masters, and five year age groups. Points for championship scoring are awarded as follows: Overall 1st 12 points, Overall 2nd 10 points, Overall 3rd 9 points, Masters 1st 8 points, Masters 2nd 7 points, Masters 3rd 6 points, Age Group 1st 5 points, Age Group 2nd 4 points, Age Group 3rd 3 points, all other participants 2 points. Prize money for top five male and female championship winners is $60, $50, $40, $30, and $20 respectively.
