Bump n' Run 5K and MRO Fest : Charlotte Motor Speedway
The Bump n' Run 5K and MRO Fest is the third annual event held at Charlotte Motor Speedway on the ROVAL. The course is a fully closed circuit that uses Pit Road, the infield road course and banked turns, and finishes at the venue's main finish line. The event is organized for multiple participation modes including runners, walkers, skaters, strollers and handcycles.
Registered participants receive a bib, event T shirt and medal. A skate sub event will start five minutes ahead of other categories and is limited to one lap around the track. Stroller entries must keep children in the stroller for the entire race; self propelled bicycles are not allowed on the course.
A festival on the frontstretch grass follows the 5K and includes awards, food trucks, live music featuring Colony House and fireworks. Spectators and guests who want venue access must purchase a festival only ticket through registration. Only registered participants are allowed on the track at any time.
Registration policies state that there are no refunds unless a Refund Protection Program was purchased, and Race Management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions or acts of God.
