Bump n' Run 5K and MRO Fest
The Bump n' Run 5K and MRO Fest is organized by Motor Racing Outreach and takes place at Charlotte Motor Speedway on September 23, 2026. The event uses the ROVAL course with a fully closed route that includes Pit Road, the infield road course, and the track's banked turns, finishing at the main finish line.
Registered participants receive a bib, event T-shirt, and a medal. Entry options listed for the event include runners, walkers, skaters, strollers, wheelchair and handcycle participants, and a skate category that completes a single lap. Only registered participants are permitted on the track at any time. The event management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions; registration fees are not refundable unless Refund Protection was purchased, and fees may be nonrefundable in the event of Acts of God.
Spectator access to the festival area requires a festival ticket. The post-race MRO Fest is held on the frontstretch grass and includes awards, food trucks, live music with Colony House as a featured act, and a fireworks display. Festival-only tickets allow access to the concert and festival area; ages six and under are free for the festival-only ticket. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
