Bump n' Run 5K and MRO Fest
The Bump n' Run 5K and MRO Fest is presented by Motor Racing Outreach as the third annual event at Charlotte Motor Speedway on September 23, 2026. The event features a closed-course 5K on the ROVAL that uses Pit Road, the infield road course, banked turns, and the same finish line used for NASCAR events.
The event permits registered runners, walkers, skaters, strollers, and handcycles, with a separate skate category that starts slightly ahead of other categories and completes one lap. Only registered participants are allowed on the track at any time. There are ticketed options that include combined race and festival access, festival-only spectator access, stroller entries, and wheelchair/handcycle entries.
The MRO Fest takes place on the frontstretch grass after the 5K and includes awards, food trucks, live music with special guest Colony House, and fireworks. Spectators who want venue access during the festival must purchase a festival-only ticket through registration. The organizer notes that registration fees are generally nonrefundable, race management may modify or cancel the event for unfavorable conditions, and fees are not refundable for cancellations due to Acts of God.
