Mr. Long See You Out There 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run/walk held in East Quogue at East Quogue Elementary School, 6 Central Ave., East Quogue, NY 11942. It is organized as a scholarship fundraiser to benefit the Robert J. Long Scholarship Fund, which provides annual scholarships for graduating Westhampton Beach and East Quogue School students.
Registration is not yet open and is scheduled to open prior to the event date. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registrants. Course details were not provided.
Bibs are issued by event staff on the day of the event; participants must know their bib number to pick up a bib, and a self-lookup area will be available for those who do not know their number. Registrations submitted at least three weeks before the event qualify for a personalized race number. Registrations completed within 24 hours of bib pickup will receive the bib number by text shortly after registration.
Awards are listed for overall top finishers and for age-group placings. Awards include top 1 male and female overall and top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, 80 to 89, and 90 plus.
