2026 Mr. Long See You Out There 5K Run/Walk
The Mr. Long See You Out There 5K Run/Walk is an annual community event held at the East Quogue Elementary School in East Quogue, New York. This event serves as a fundraiser for the Robert J. Long Scholarship Foundation, which provides scholarships to students who have graduated from East Quogue Elementary School and Westhampton Beach. The event proceeds and additional donations support this educational cause.
The event features two distinct participation options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Free Kids Fun Run
Participants who register at least three weeks before the race day will have their names printed on their official bibs. The first 100 registrants are guaranteed an event t-shirt. The competition includes awards for the top male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three male and female finishers in various age categories, ranging from 9 and under to 90 and older.
The 5K takes place rain or shine. Participants can choose to form or join teams with friends and family during the registration process. Bib pickup begins on-site one hour before the start of the event. Finishers have access to live online results, email and text notifications, and same-day finish line photography and video.
