Mr. Long See You Out There 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community 5K run/walk held in East Quogue at East Quogue Elementary School, 6 Central Ave., East Quogue, NY 11942. It is presented as a Robert J. Long Scholarship fundraiser that will provide scholarships in his name for graduating Westhampton Beach and East Quogue School students on an annual basis.
Registration is not yet open; the organizer indicates registration will open ahead of the event date and a notification option is available for those who want to be alerted when registrations go live. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registrants.
Awards include overall top male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 and over.
Bibs are distributed through on-site pickup procedures; registrants are expected to know their bib number or use a self-lookup area.
