Event overview
The EMO Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk held on November 27, 2025 in East Moriches, NY. The event takes place at East Moriches Middle School, 9 Adelaide Avenue, East Moriches, NY 11940. The course is USATF-certified (certificate ID NY16024JG). All proceeds benefit the East Moriches PTO to support health and wellness opportunities for East Moriches students.
Registration, logistics and awards
Registration options include a 5K Run/Walk. Published entry pricing ranges from $30.00 for the base 5K entry to a total that may include processing fees and optional donations. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Early bib and T-shirt pickup is scheduled for November 25 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the middle school cafeteria or lobby. Day-of bib pickup requires check-in at the middle school cafeteria; participants must know their bib number or use the self-lookup area. The first 300 registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt and registrants who sign up three weeks in advance may receive a personalized bib number.
Results and media are provided online, by email or text, and include free video and same-day finish line photos. Awards include top 1 male and female overall and online recognition for age groups: 7 & under; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Team registration is optional.
