The EMO Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held on November 27, 2025, in East Moriches, New York. The event takes place at East Moriches Middle School, 9 Adelaide Avenue, East Moriches, NY 11940. All proceeds benefit the East Moriches PTO to support health and wellness opportunities for East Moriches students.
Logistics and race details
Distance: 5K
- Early bib and T-shirt pickup is on November 25 in the middle school cafeteria.
- Day-of pickup requires check-in at the East Moriches Middle School Cafeteria between 7:30 AM and 8:45 AM. Participants who are among the first 300 registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt. Personalized race numbers are available for those who register early.
Awards include top overall male and female finishers. Age group recognition is provided online for these groups: 7 & under; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.
The course has a USATF-certified map (certificate ID NY16024JG). Live online, email, and text results are provided, along with same-day finish line photos and video. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
