Moving for Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee
This inaugural event features a community 5k and a separate 1 Mile Kids' Fun Run at Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna, Tennessee. The 5k course is certified and will be timed. The event location is listed as 311 Jefferson Pike, Smyrna, TN 37167.

The event supports Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides safe, pasteurized donor human milk to vulnerable infants. Funds raised will be used to screen prospective breast milk donors, including covering the cost of bloodwork; to collect and transport donations from Milk Drop Depots to the processing facility in Murfreesboro, TN; to provide pasteurized donor human milk to infants in need; to advance a Compassionate Care Fund for the Outpatient Program that removes cost barriers to donor milk; and to purchase essential laboratory equipment to increase the milk bank's capacity.
