The Moving for Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Smyrna, TN at 311 Jefferson Pike, 37167. The event consists of the following distances:

1 mile (Kids' Fun Run)

The 5 km course runs through Sharp Springs Park, is certified, and will be timed. All 5 km registrants may also take part in the Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run at no additional cost. The listed entry fees are $38.10 for the 5 km (price increases after December 31, 2025) and $16.90 for the Kids' 1-Mile Fun Run; registration for the kids run ends September 30, 2026.

Purpose and benefits

The event is organized to support Mothers' Milk Bank of Tennessee, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit milk bank. Funds raised will be used to screen prospective breast milk donors, including covering bloodwork costs; collect and transport breast milk donations from Milk Drop Depots to the processing facility in Murfreesboro, TN; provide pasteurized donor human milk to infants; advance the Compassionate Care Fund for the Outpatient Program to reduce cost barriers; and purchase laboratory equipment to increase processing capacity.
