Moving for Mothers' Milk Bank Southeast : event description
Moving for Mothers' Milk Bank Southeast is an inaugural community running event held in Smyrna, Tennessee on November 7, 2026. The program includes a scenic 5K course through Sharp Springs Park and a separate kids' fun run. The 5K course is certified and will be timed. All 5K registrants may also participate in the kids' run at no additional cost.

Funds raised will support the milk bank's operations, including screening prospective breast milk donors and covering associated bloodwork; collecting and transporting donor milk from Milk Drop Depots to the processing facility in Murfreesboro, TN; providing pasteurized donor human milk to vulnerable infants; advancing a Compassionate Care Fund for the Outpatient Program to reduce cost barriers; and purchasing essential laboratory equipment to increase processing capacity.
