Shelli Huether Veterans Day Honor Run - Brentwood, TN
The Shelli Huether Veterans Day Honor Run is a multi-event running and rucking event held at Granny White Park in Brentwood, Tennessee. The event offers several distance and format options, chip timing, one on-course aid station with water and Gatorade, and on-site medical support. Funds raised in excess of expenses will be divided equally between the National Guard Association of Tennessee and Lantern Lane Farm Counseling Center. Shelli Huether Honor Run Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations are tax-deductible. Veterans and active military receive a $15 registration discount.

Course and logistics: the course is a paved 0.8 mile loop around the park with a few gentle hills. The 5K and 10K are completed by repeating the loop several times; the eight hour event records the total loops completed. Ruck participants must provide a rucksack or weighted vest and meet weight requirements; packs and participants will be weighed at check-in and at the finish. Race shirts, bibs, and medals are included for 5K and 10K participants while supplies last. Eight hour participants receive a shirt, bib, medal, and lunch.
