Event Overview
The Move For It 5k is a fundraising run/walk event organized in support of To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), a mental health nonprofit. The event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Location and Schedule
The event is held at the Schechter Center on 1089 S Patrick Dr. in Satellite Beach, Florida. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, April 17, at a location called Running Zone.
Registration and Fees
The event features a single 5k distance. Standard registration costs $35 for participants aged 13 and over, and $25 for youth aged 12 and under. A $5 discount is available for those opting not to receive an event shirt. Prices increase by $5 on race day. Participants who register by April 1 are guaranteed to receive an event shirt and a finisher medal.
Participant Perks and Awards
All registered participants receive a bib. Following the race, on-site wellness training is offered. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers, as well as top masters finishers (40+). Age group awards are also presented.
On-Site Activities
The post-race area includes raffle prizes, TWLOHA merchandise for sale, family-friendly activities, wellness vendors, and food trucks. Information on overdose prevention is also available.
Charity Impact
