MoVal Runs 2nd Anniversary 5K : Lake Perris, Perris, CA
The MoVal Runs 2nd Anniversary 5K is a community 5K event held at Lake Perris on June 27, 2026. The course is an out and back route on the paved trail along the lake, running toward the dam and back to the finish. Organizers describe the course as completely flat.
Event registration includes a custom bib, a custom finisher medal for all registered participants, race day photos, and an awards ceremony for top finishers. Registrants who sign up before June 7 receive an event t shirt. There will be a water station at the halfway point and complimentary drinks and snacks at the finish area. The finish area will feature multiple booths from local sponsors offering items such as fresh juice, coffee, athletic apparel, and community services.
The event is capped at 250 registrants and there will be no same day registration. A $20 park entry fee per vehicle is collected by the park at the entrance gate; carpooling is encouraged. Strollers and dogs are permitted but are asked to start toward the back of the pack. Children riding in strollers do not need to be registered unless a finisher medal is desired.
MoVal Runs is a Moreno Valley community run club that hosts weekly meet ups and organizes low entry fee races. This is the club's fifth major racing event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
