Mourne Mountain Marathon

The Mourne Mountain Marathon is a two-day endurance and navigation event held in the Mourne mountains in County Down. The organiser is NIMRA. Course, rules and kit

The event is an endurance navigation race over mountainous terrain. The organiser requires Level C mandatory kit. Required items include a waterproof jacket with integrated hood and taped seams, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, a foil blanket or bivvy bag, waterproof full leg cover, means to carry at least 500 mL of water, emergency food, a map of the route or area, and a compass.
