About the race

The Mounties Miler is a continuous community endurance challenge held on the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail at Mount Helena, WA. The event comprises a 100 mile challenge (160 km) made up of repeating 5 km laps completed on the hour for 32 consecutive hours. Registration options include individual entry for the full 160 km, team entry for up to four people sharing the 160 km, single 5 km lap entries, and community group entries. A central control point at base camp manages check-in and check-out each hour, provides first aid support, hydration and basic nutrition, and coordinates safety measures.

Water, fruit and lollies are available at base camp, and additional food and drinks are offered for purchase. Participants completing overnight or night laps must use headlamps and carry a phone for safety; organisers also record each lap for participant monitoring. First aid is available on site and participants are responsible for their own fitness, hydration and appropriate clothing. All funds raised support ROAR Inc school intervention programs that aim to build student resilience, confidence, positive mindset and community connection.

Parking near the event is limited with on-street parking about 300 m from the start; participants are advised to car pool where possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
