About the race

The John Forrest Trail Run is an organised trail-running event held by the West Australian Marathon Club on 7 February 2027 at the corner of Flora and Park Road, Hovea, WA, Australia. The event offers two course options:

4.3 km

Runners are required to carry their own water during the course; there are no drink stations on course. Water will be available at the start and finish area. A GPX file and course map are provided for route reference.

Entry fees vary by distance and membership status. Examples of listed fees include AUD 5.00 for members under 18 and AUD 25.00 for non-member adults on the 13 km event. Online registrations open in advance and close on the day of the event; a late registration penalty applies from the Saturday before the event for non-members. The event is open to non-club members; participation does not require club membership.
