Mountie Maker
Mountie Maker is an obstacle course event presented by the YMCA of Regina on the RCMP Academy grounds in Regina, Saskatchewan, on September 26, 2026. The main course is 7.5 km long and includes 26 obstacles that reflect the 26-week Cadet Training Program.
Event offerings:
- 7.5 km course with 26 obstacles.
- Mini Mountie 2 km obstacle race for ages 5 to 13.
- Adult Mountie Sprint, a shorter obstacle course.
Registration includes a t-shirt, a medal, water and snacks. An online waiver must be completed as part of registration. Registration closes on September 24, 2026.
The RCMP Academy is an active training site and a secure facility; access is controlled and personal items may be searched on entry. Participants are restricted to the course around the Academy grounds. Each participant will receive a clear plastic bag for personal items; bags should be labeled with the participant's name and tied to a fence inside the grounds during the race. The RCMP is not liable for lost or stolen items.
Packet pickup is scheduled for September 25, 2026 at the Fort Dufferin Boardroom, RCMP Depot Division. Parking is planned at Rambler Park with continuous shuttle service to Depot. Spectators are welcome but are limited to the staging area off 11th Avenue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
