Mountie Maker
Mountie Maker is an obstacle course event presented by the YMCA of Regina in collaboration with the RCMP, held on the RCMP Academy grounds in Regina, Saskatchewan, on September 26, 2026.
The full adult course is 7.5 km long and includes 26 obstacles, reflecting the 26-week Cadet Training Program. Waves of participants depart at ten-minute intervals. There is a single competitive heat restricted to individual entries; those participants are held to stricter standards and are eligible for placement.
Other formats:
- Mini Mountie: 2 km for children aged 5 to 13.
- Adult sprint: a shorter obstacle course for adults.
Adults and cadets may register individually or as teams; adult teams may include 2 to 24 people. Cadets may be eligible for a reduced rate via a promo code sent by email. An online waiver must be completed for each participant as part of registration.
Practical details: registration includes a t-shirt, a medal, water and snacks after the race. The RCMP Academy is a secure training site; personal items will be searched on entry and participants are provided a clear plastic bag to store belongings, which must be attached to a fence on site. Parking is located at Rambler Park with shuttle service to the Academy. Registrations are non-transferable and fees are non-refundable.
