Mountie Maker Obstacle Course Race
The Mountie Maker is an obstacle course event presented by the YMCA of Regina on the RCMP Academy grounds in Regina, Saskatchewan, on September 26, 2026. The main course is a 7.5 km run that includes 26 obstacles, which reflect the 26 weeks of the Cadet Training Program. Adult participants may register individually or as part of a team; teams for adult races can range from 2 to 24 people. There is a separate competitive adult heat that accepts single registrations only and is eligible for placement.
The event also includes a Mini Mountie 2 km obstacle race for children aged 5 to 13 and a shorter adult sprint obstacle course. Registration includes a t-shirt, a medal, water and snacks. All participants or a parent or guardian for minors must complete an online waiver as part of registration. Package pickup is scheduled the day before the event at the RCMP Depot Division Fort Dufferin Boardroom; parking at the RCMP Heritage Centre is noted for pickup.
The RCMP Academy is an active, secure training site. Access is controlled and participants are restricted to the course around the grounds. Personal items are searched on entry; participants receive a clear plastic bag to secure belongings to a fence while on course. Spectators are allowed in a designated staging area off 11th Avenue.
