Mountie Maker
Mountie Maker is an obstacle course event held on the RCMP Academy grounds at 5600 11th Avenue in Regina, Saskatchewan on September 26, 2026. The main adult course is a 7.5 km run that includes 26 obstacles designed to reflect the 26 weeks of the Cadet Training Program. Obstacles include rope climbs, over 8 foot walls and army crawls through mud and sand.
The event offers multiple race options:
- 7.5 km full course with 26 obstacles
- Mini Mountie 2 km obstacle race for ages 5 to 13
- Adult Sprint shorter obstacle course
Adults may register individually or as part of a team; teams may range from 2 to 24 people, except for the competitive first heat which accepts single registrations only. All participants or a parent or legal guardian must complete an online waiver as part of registration. Registration closes on September 24, 2026. Applicant verification for cadet applicants is offered at no charge and involves a separate code process.
Registrations are non transferable and fees are non refundable. Package pickup is scheduled the day before the event at the RCMP Depot Division Fort Dufferin Boardroom. The RCMP Academy is an active secure training site; access is restricted to the course area, personal items are searched on entry, and clear plastic bags are provided for belongings that will be secured on site.
