Mountaineer Rumble 100 Miler
The Mountaineer Rumble event at Kings Mountain State Park in Clover, South Carolina on November 7, 2026 offers multiple trail race distances on a ten mile loop that follows the CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze). Each loop has approximately 650 feet of elevation gain and includes two fully stocked aid stations.

- 100K
- 100 Mile
Course formats are loop based. 50K entrants complete three loops plus a half mile out and back at the start. 100K entrants complete six loops plus a mile out and back at the start. 100 Mile entrants complete ten loops. An indoor aid station at the start and finish provides space for drop bags, and a canopy area near the start and finish is available for crew; crew access is restricted to the start and finish area.
Time limits are specified per distance: 10 hours for the 50K, 20 hours for the 100K, and 32 hours for the 100 Mile. All finishers receive awards; 50K and 100K awards note the distance and 100 Mile finishers receive a custom designed buckle. Since 2022, runners who complete all three ultra distances receive a special handmade display award. Cabin accommodations are available to 50K, 100K, and 100 Mile runners during the race weekend, with additional cabin time available for those needing recovery after the 100 Mile.
