Mountaineer Rumble 10 Mile, 50K, 100K, 100 Miler
The event on November 7, 2026 is a trail-running weekend at Kings Mountain State Park, Clover, SC, organized by Mountaineer Rumble Events. It offers multiple distances on a repeated loop course that uses the CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze).
Distances
- 10 Mile
- 50K : three ten-mile loops plus a 0.5 mile out-and-back
- 100K : six ten-mile loops plus a 1 mile out-and-back
- 100 Miler : ten ten-mile loops
Each loop includes approximately 650 +/- feet of elevation gain and two fully stocked aid stations. An indoor aid station at the start/finish provides drop-bag storage and a canopy area near the start/finish is available for crew; crew access is limited to the start/finish area.
Time limits are specified by distance: 50K 10 hours, 100K 20 hours, and 100 Miler 32 hours. All finishers receive awards; 50K and 100K awards note the distance, and 100 Miler finishers receive a custom buckle. Beginning in 2022, runners who complete all three ultradistances receive a special handmade display award for medals and buckle; finishes may be in any order.
Race weekend includes packet pickup and cabin assignments, a pasta dinner and pre-race meeting, pre-race breakfast and last-minute bib pickup, pre-race review/entertainment, and designated quiet hours. Cabin lodging options are offered to 50K, 100K, and 100 Miler runners, with additional post-race cabin availability for 100 Miler finishers into the following day.
