The Hearts For Missions 5K is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The event location is 618 Chestnut Ridge Church Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086. The race includes two event options: the on-site Hearts For Missions 5K and a Hearts for Missions "Supporter" option that is noted as in HEART, not in person. Purpose and race features
The event is organized on behalf of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church’s Missions Group. Proceeds are intended to support the Cleveland County Rescue Mission; relief efforts in and around the Asheville, NC area affected by Hurricane Helene; Guatemala missions supporting Colegio Innovando Sonadores, Casa De Dios, and Hogar Gloria De Dios; and a local program called Christmas at the Ridge that helps vetted under-privileged children. The 5K will be professionally timed by Finish Well Timing, which is donating its services. Organizers note there will be unique handmade awards and an award structure that includes top three male and female overall plus top three male and female in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
