Hearts For Missions 5K
The Hearts For Missions 5K takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The event location is 618 Chestnut Ridge Church Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086. The race program includes a 5K event and a "Hearts for Missions 'Supporter' (in HEART, not in person)" option. Entry for each listed event is $20; the 5K entry fee increases after February 13, 2026, and registration for the supporter option ends February 14, 2026. The 5K will be professionally timed by Finish Well Timing, who are donating their services.
Purpose, awards and beneficiaries
The event is held on behalf of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church’s Missions Group. Proceeds will support local and international mission efforts, including the Cleveland County Rescue Mission, relief efforts in and around Asheville affected by Hurricane Helene, and Guatemala missions that support Colegio Innovando Sonadores, Casa De Dios, and Hogar Gloria De Dios. Funds will also support "Christmas at the Ridge," a program that allows vetted parents of under-privileged children to select items for their children. Unique handmade awards are planned, with top-three male and female overall and top-three male and female in age groups 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
