Mountain Tiger Donner Summit
Mountain Tiger Donner Summit is a point to point mountain trail race on Donner Summit near Soda Springs, California, held on July 25, 2026. The event offers a single distance of 12.5 miles and returns for a second year.
The course runs on Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge trails and includes singletrack, technical trails, smooth fire roads, and ridge sections. The route reaches four summits and has 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The race begins at an altitude of 7,000 feet and features varied terrain along the ridgeline. There is a race cutoff of 5 hours.
Entry costs $95 plus fees and includes group shuttle transportation from the finish to the start. Registered runners receive one entry to the post race raffle and a unique finisher's item. Registration opens on March 25 and closes on July 20 at 11:59 PM PT. The event policy states no refunds and allows 2027 rollovers until June 1.
