Event Overview
The Mountain Tiger Donner Summit is a point-to-point mountain trail race held on Donner Summit in the Tahoe area. It covers a distance of 12.5 miles.
Course Information
The course features four summits on Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge's trails, with significant ridge running. The terrain includes singletrack, technical trails, and smooth fire roads. The total elevation gain is 3,300 feet, and the race begins at an altitude of 7,000 feet. There is a race cutoff time of 5 hours.
Registration and Logistics
The entry fee is $95 plus processing fees. Registration includes group shuttle transportation from the finish line to the start line, necessary for the point-to-point format. Runners receive an entry to a post-race raffle and a unique finisher's item. The policy states no refunds but allows rollovers to the 2027 event until June 1.
