Mountain Madness : Vernal, Utah
Mountain Madness is a 50 mile relay event held on August 15, 2026, in Vernal, Utah. The course traverses parts of Ashley National Forest and runs from the Red Cloud loop turnoff to Remember the Maine Park. Entrants may compete solo or as part of teams arranged for 8, 4, or 2 people.
The route is supported by HAM radio operators and porta potties placed along the course. Runners may use a support vehicle to carry water, supplies, and snacks; there are no organized aid stations on the course. A shirt guarantee applies for registrations completed by July 30.
