Event
Marsh Peak Madness is a trail running event scheduled for June 6, 2026 in Lapoint, Utah, at the Lake Mountain Corrals. The event offers multiple race formats:
- 12-hour endurance
- 6-hour endurance
- 5 Mile speed run

Course and format
The course is a single loop of 5.25 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,244 ft per loop. The route passes high mountain meadows around Gull Lake and offers views of Marsh Peak and Dry Fork Canyon from the top of Lake Mountain. Several aid and water stations are placed throughout the course. The location is a short drive from Vernal.
For the endurance events, participants run the loop repeatedly within a chosen time limit (6 or 12 hours). Only fully completed loops count toward the total; the participant who completes the most full loops in the time limit is the winner. The speed run is a single-loop race in which the first runner to complete the loop wins.
Prizes
A cash prize is awarded whenever a new course record is set. The listed prize amounts are: 12-hour endurance $100, 6-hour endurance $50, and 5 Mile speed run $25. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
