Mount Magazine 15K (May 30, 2026)
The Mount Magazine 15K is a 15-kilometre event organized by River Valley Runners in Havana, Arkansas, at the intersection of Havana and Dardenelle. It is presented as the opening race of a three-race Tri Peak Series.
The course starts with about a half mile on a dirt road near the school, then continues on paved road for the climb to the top of Mount Magazine. The route features a single sustained climb to the summit. After reaching the top, a shuttle is provided to return participants to the bottom of the mountain; participants may also choose to run back down.
Three entry options are offered: in-person run, walk, and virtual. Registration opens in December 2025 and closes on May 29, 2026. Fees listed are $35 for the in-person run and walk entries and $40 for the virtual entry.
The series provides a race shirt and a custom medal for each event, plus a distinct final medal for completing all three races. Discounts apply for multi-race registrations and for River Valley Runners members. Virtual finishers are required to submit activity tracking or course mapping proof such as Strava, Garmin, or Coros records in order to receive event gear.
