Starlight Stampede Glow Run 5K
The Starlight Stampede is a nighttime community running event in Plainview, AR on October 16, 2026, held as part of the Frontier Day Festival. The course goes through downtown Plainview, heading up Davison Street and returning to the start area. The event takes place near Broadway and Main St.

- 1K (kids fun run)
There are separate 5K running and 5K walking events, plus a kids 1K fun run. Registration fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K entries and $15.00 for the kids 1K. Registration opens July 25, 2026 and closes October 14, 2026 for the listed events. Same day registration is available for $40 from 4:45 PM to 6:15 PM, with no guaranteed shirt or medal for same day registrants. Pre-registration check-in is scheduled the afternoon and early evening of the event date.
Results and awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in running and walking divisions, with additional age group awards for these groups: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-30, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
