Danville School Color Run
The Danville School Color Run is a community fundraising event organized to support the purchase of new playground equipment for the local elementary school. The event takes place in Danville, Arkansas, and features a course that circles the school grounds.
Participants can choose from three different event distances:
- 1/2 mile walk
- 1 mile walk or run
- 5k run or walk
The event is designed for both children and parents. To accommodate different preferences, the organizers release participants in two separate heats for the first race. The first group is given a 10 minute head start to allow individuals who prefer not to have color powder thrown at them to complete the course without participating in the color throwing aspect of the run.
Registration is available in advance with tiered pricing, including an early bird option. On-site registration is also available starting 60 minutes before the event begins.
