Event Information

The Mt. Baldy Run-to-the-Top is a trail running race organized by the San Antonio Town Hall. The event takes place in the Angeles National Forest on Labor Day. The 61st annual event was planned for September 7.

Race Details

The course is a 7+ mile trail race. It starts at the entrance to the Ski Lifts parking lot at an elevation of 6,000 feet. The finish is on the summit of Mt. Baldy at 10,064 feet.

Registration can be done online or onsite on race day. A race shirt and finisher medal at the finish line are included with registration, though late finishers are not guaranteed a medal. A ski lift ride down is not included. Four aid and water stations are present on the course.

Race Rules and Logistics

The event uses professional timing. Awards are given to the overall top three and the top three in male and female divisions. The event is a rain or shine event.

Participants must return from the finish via a 3.5-mile hike back to the lifts. Course rules include no earbuds, headphones, radios, poles, or pets. Runners must remain on the designated trail at all times and must not impede Mt. Baldy Road. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
