The Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Georgetown, MA (51 North St., 01833). The event offers a 5K course that starts and finishes at the Perley School. The course is described as flat and will run down Route 97 and through a neighborhood. Race amenities include custom race numbers, race shirts, flowers, hot coffee, chocolates, and a red carpet finish. Walkers, dogs, and strollers are permitted. The event will proceed rain or shine.
Logistics
Registration fees vary by date: $25 through 12/31, $35 through 3/31, $40 through 5/9, and $50 on race day. Youth 15 and under fees are $20 through 12/31 and $25 through race day; youth entries include a race shirt. Unisex race shirts (YS-3XL) are available while supplies last and are guaranteed to the first 100 registrants. Packet pickup and race day registration open in the Perley School parking lot at 8:00 AM. There will not be any water stations on course. Parking is not available at the Perley School; side-street parking is permitted where signed. Organizers recommend parking at Georgetown High School or the Georgetown Park and Ride lot. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and top three strollers. A portion of proceeds will support charitable entities. A free deferral and transfer policy is available through April 1; refunds or deferrals after that date (without insurance) incur a $10 administration fee.
