Event Details
The Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk takes place on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10, 2026. The event is located in downtown Georgetown, Massachusetts.
The single event distance is 5 km. The course is described as flat and starts and finishes at the Perley School. The route goes down Route 97 and through a neighborhood. There are no water stations on the course. Walkers, dogs, and strollers are welcome.
Registration & Logistics
Packet pickup and race day registration opens at 8:00 AM on race day in the parking lot of the Perley School. Registration fees vary:
- $25 through December 31
- $35 through March 31
- $40 through May 9 at 7:00 PM
- $50 on race day Youth 15 and under have a separate fee structure: $20 through December 31, then $25 through race day, which includes a race shirt.
Unisex race shirts in sizes YS to 3XL are available while supplies last and are guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants.
Awards & Additional Information
Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top three stroller participants. Parking is not available at the Perley School on race day. Participants are advised to park at Georgetown High School and walk over, or use the Georgetown Park and Ride lot or permitted side streets.
A portion of the event's proceeds will be allocated to various charitable entities. Post-race, participants can visit Sylvan Street Grille in Salisbury or Peabody on the day after the event (May 11) for a free beer or glass of wine by showing their race bib.
