Event overview
The Yellowknife Multisport Club presents the 2026 Mother’s Day Fun Run/Walk in Yellowknife. The start and finish are at Somba K’e Park near City Hall. The course uses the paved portion of the Frame Lake Trail and includes a leg loop.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 3 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
The entry fee is $20 for all categories. Participants aged 17 and under are free but still must register. Same-day cash registrations are permitted at check-in; all same-day registrants must sign the YKMC waiver form. Volunteers are asked to register through the event registration system as a "Volunteer."
An edible flower giveaway is planned for the first roughly 150 finishers. Washroom facilities are available on site at Somba K’e Plaza. Proceeds from the event will be directed to the Yellowknife Women’s Society. There is an option to make a separate donation to the Yellowknife Women’s Society; donations over $20 are tax-deductible and a list of donations will be provided for issuing receipts.
