Mother's Day Classic - Geelong
The Mother's Day Classic in Geelong is a community walk and run held at Eastern Park (Oval 3) and along the Eastern Beach foreshore. The event offers both walk and run options over two course distances:
- 5 km course that loops around Eastern Park and continues along Eastern Beach.
- 10 km course comprising two laps of the 5 km loop.
The event village is located at Eastern Park and includes bag drop storage, water via reusable bottle refill, coffee and food vendors (Dutch Buttons, Chubby Bao, City to Surf Cafe), and entertainment on the main stage. Activities for children include a Slime Making Workshop, face painting, bubble play, and the Stepping Stones area. Medal engraving is available on site but may have long wait times.
The course is wheelchair and pram friendly. The event operates cashless for onsite transactions. Bibs can be collected from the event village. Parking is available nearby, either free or at minimal cost, and the site is accessible via Geelong Railway Station plus several local bus routes with short walks to the village.
