Event Overview
MoRun Birmingham is a community running event hosted at Sutton Park. The event focuses on bringing together runners of different ages and backgrounds to raise awareness and funds for the charity Movember, which addresses men's health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Course and Logistics
The run utilizes a route consisting of both path and trail running. The terrain is described as undulating. For the specific distances, the 5 km is a single lap, the 10 km comprises two laps, and the Half Marathon involves an initial 1.1 km loop followed by four full laps. The course is open to dogs, buggy runners, and wheelchairs.
All participants receive a race chip for timing, providing instant results upon crossing the finish line. Registration is located near the Visitors Centre via the Town Gate entrance. Facilities on-site include toilets and a limited bag storage area located next to the registration tents. Finisher rewards include a unique medal and a headband. Water and snacks are provided at the finish line.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Sutton Park, specifically using the Park Road entrance (postcode B73 6BU). Parking inside the park is extremely limited, and participants are advised to seek parking outside the park boundaries or use shared transportation.
