Event Overview
The MoRun Birmingham is a running event in support of the Movember charity, focusing on men's health awareness. It takes place in Sutton Park.
Distances
The event offers four chip-timed race distances:
- 1.5k Mini MoRun
- 5k MoRun
- 10k MoRun
- Half Marathon MoRun
Course Details
The run takes place in Sutton Park. The route is a mix of path and trail running, described as undulating. It is dog-friendly and suitable for buggy running and wheelchairs. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon has an initial 1.1 km loop before completing four full laps.
Participant Perks
All finishers receive a medal and a headband. Water and snacks are provided at the finish line. Bonus medals are awarded for categories like fastest runner and best dressed.
Event Day Information
Registration opens from 8:00 AM and closes 10 minutes before each race start. The registration and event hub are located near the Visitors Centre via Town Gate (postcode B73 6BU). Parking within the park is extremely limited. Bag storage is available but space is limited. Toilets are located in the event hub. A fancy dress competition takes place.
