Church Eaton Chase 10k & Children's Fun Run : 11 April 2027
The event is a community running day in the village of Church Eaton, Staffordshire. It features a circular scenic 10k route that runs through quiet country lanes around the village. The main race starts at the Cricket Club and finishes at the Royal Oak pub. Medals are provided for all competitors and prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers.
A children's fun run takes place on the Cricket field. Parents are welcome to run with children. Fancy dress is encouraged for the fun run and each child receives a goody bag and a medal.
Food and refreshments are available at the Cricket Club and the Royal Oak on the day. Dedicated free parking is provided in the village and will be signed and marshalled; participants are asked to be respectful of local residents when parking on the street.
Entry details published by the organiser include an entry fee of £17.50 for the 10k and £3.00 for the children's run, a minimum age of 16 years for the 10k, and a limit of 200 runners for the main race. The organiser states that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, but transfers to another runner are allowed.
