Church Eaton Chase 10k and Children's Fun Run
The event takes place in the village of Church Eaton on 11 April 2027 and is presented as a community focussed village run. The main event is a circular scenic 10 km route through quiet country lanes around the village. The course starts at the Cricket Club and finishes at the Royal Oak Pub. A Children's Fun Run takes place on the cricket field; parents are welcome to run with children and fancy dress is encouraged.
Facilities include breakfast baps and refreshments at the Cricket Club in the morning and food served at the Royal Oak from midday. Registration is managed at the Village Hall next to the Cricket Club. Medals are provided for all competitors and prizes are awarded to the first male and female finishers. The organiser sets a maximum of 200 runners for the main race and there is a separate capacity for the children's run. The minimum age for the 10k is 16 years on the event day. Entry fees are listed for each race and a no refund policy applies, with transfers to another runner permitted.
Proceeds from the event are returned to village clubs and societies and the event aims to raise money for charity.
