Morris Hill Meltdown
Morris Hill Meltdown is a point-to-point uphill event on Morris Hill in Monticello, Kentucky. The course covers 1.1 miles with more than 650 feet of elevation gain and features twisty turns and continuous climbing along a local road.

- 1.1 miles - Vertical Mile (running race)
- 1.1 miles - Vertical Mile RUCK (ruck)
Packet pickup is at the Monticello Farmers Market. From there, participants will be guided on an approximately five-minute walk to Morris Hill Road for the race start area. The entry fee is $20.
After finishing, participants should plan to walk or jog about 1.5 miles back to the farmers market for awards; shuttle transport will be available for those who prefer not to return on foot. Awards include overall top three male and female finishers, an award for the last place finisher, and two awards drawn at random. All finishers receive a race-logo sticker. First-place male and female finishers receive $150 each. A $300 bonus will be awarded if a winning time is faster than the current course record of 8:21 set in 2025.
The June edition of the Monticello Market will be held beside the check-in area. Local vendors, food options, and nearby businesses such as 606 Fix and Mix, The Lily Pad coffee shop, and Main Street Books will be open after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
