Pilgrimage in the Park 5K Run/Walk
The Pilgrimage in the Park 5K Run/Walk is an annual Thanksgiving Day event held at Pulaski Park in Nancy, Kentucky. This trail run takes place on scenic paths that provide views of Lake Cumberland. The event is organized by Phoenix Wellness, a nonprofit organization, and a portion of the proceeds is donated to the American Cancer Society.
Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Fun Run/Walk
The course utilizes new trails within the park. In addition to individual categories, the event features team divisions for various groups, including church, family, corporate, and friends. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age group.
Age divisions are categorized as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Determination for age group placement is based on the participant's age as of December 31, 2025. Commemorative race shirts are available for purchase, with a guarantee for those who register by the specified November deadline. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
