Moreton Buy 10km
Moreton Buy 10km is a road running event scheduled for Sunday 19 July 2026 in Clontarf. The race distance is 10 km and the start and finish are at Pelican Park, 101 Hornibrook Esplanade, Clontarf. The event is listed as sold out.
The field is organised into seeding waves based on target finish times: Wave 1 (Elite) sub 43 minutes, Wave 2 sub 45 minutes, Wave 3 45 to 60 minutes, Wave 4 60 to 70 minutes, Wave 5 sub 75 minutes, Wave 6 75 to 90 minutes, and Wave 7 over 90 minutes. Wave starts are staged sequentially and are dependent on previous waves starting on time.
Minimum age for participation is 12 years. Age categories are 12-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89 and 90+ years. Cut-off is 2 hours 15 minutes from each participant's race start.
Event services and equipment include disposable race timing chips mounted on the back of race bibs. Pace runners are listed for a range of target times including 40 minutes, 45 minutes, 50 minutes, 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes. Finishers receive a finishers certificate and a finishers medallion.
