Event details
The 10km run takes place on Sunday 19 July 2026 and follows the Redcliffe waterfront. The course starts and finishes at Pelican Park, 101 Hornibrook Esplanade, Clontarf. The race uses disposable timing chips attached to the back of race bibs. A cut-off of 2 hours 15 minutes from a participant’s start is enforced to support participant safety and road reopening.
Race format and entry
Runners are organised into seeded waves based on expected finish times, from Elite (sub 43 minutes) through categories up to over 90 minutes. Age categories run from 12-17 years through 90+ years. Pace runners are listed for a range of target times. Registrations will open soon; entry fees are listed as Early Bird $70.00, Standard $75.00 and Late Entry $85.00. A J2J singlet is included, with size selectable during registration.
Prizes, finishers and exclusions
Prize money is offered for the top male and female finishers: 1st $800, 2nd $400, 3rd $200. Finishers receive a certificate and a finishers medallion. For competitor safety, pets, scooters, bikes and skates are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
