The event is a 10 km road race held on Sunday 19 July 2026 with the start and finish located at Pelican Park, 101 Hornibrook Esplanade, Clontarf. Entry is open to participants aged 12 years and over; the minimum age is 12 years.
Runners are assigned to seeded waves based on target finish time. Wave categories include Elite (sub 43 minutes), sub 45 minutes, 45 to 60 minutes, 60 to 70 minutes, sub 75 minutes, 75 to 90 minutes, and over 90 minutes. Cut off is 2 hours 15 minutes from each participant's start time. Pace runners are provided for 40 minutes, 45 minutes, 50 minutes, 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes.
Timing uses disposable race timing chips located on the back of race bibs. Prize money is awarded on gun time to the top male and female finishers with amounts of 1st prize $800, 2nd prize $400 and 3rd prize $200. Finishers receive a finishers certificate and a finishers medallion. Included merchandise for entrants is a J2J running singlet.
