Event Overview
The Moreton 10k is a 10 km road running event. It takes place on Sunday 19 July 2026. The start and finish line is at Pelican Park, 101 Hornibrook Esplanade in Clontarf.
Key Details
The minimum age for participants is 12 years. The race uses disposable timing chips on race bibs. There is an overall cut-off time of 2 hours 15 minutes from a participant's start time.
The event uses a wave start system with seven waves. Wave 1 is for elite runners aiming for a time under 43 minutes. Subsequent waves are organised by estimated finish time, ranging from under 45 minutes to over 90 minutes. Official pace runners are provided for target times of 40 minutes, 45 minutes, 50 minutes, 1 hour, and 1 hour 15 minutes.
Age Categories and Awards
Age categories are available from 12-17 years up to 90+ years. All finishers receive a medallion and a finishers certificate. Prize money is awarded.
Participant Information
All registered participants receive a J2J running singlet. For safety, pets, scooters, bikes, and skates are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
