Brisbane Road Runners Club : 5K Club Championship
Brisbane Road Runners Club stages road running events on a flat, accurately measured circuit along Riverside Drive in West End, starting from the SBSC Clubhouse at Orleigh Park. This event features a single distance: 5K on the club circuit.
Events run with police-approved permits and marshals positioned along the course. Electronic timing is used for lap and finish times, and a digital timing clock is located at the start/finish line. Longer distances on the circuit are completed as multiple laps when applicable.
Registration opens online on the Monday before each event and closes at 7:00 pm on the Saturday before; there are no late entries and no on-the-day registration. Club members do not pay entry fees; visitors may register online ahead of the event. Race bibs are issued to members and visitors, with temporary bibs available if required.
On race days a BYO water table is provided near the start/finish area and free post-race bananas are supplied. Facilities include the clubhouse and nearby toilets.
