Triathlon Pink - Brisbane
Triathlon Pink at Sleeman Sports Complex is a women-focused triathlon weekend with pool-based swim legs, a closed-road multi-lap bike course, and multi-lap run routes. The program includes adult triathlon distances, kids triathlons for ages 7–13, and multiple fun run options for a range of ages.
Participants receive a timing chip, event gift, and race bib at event check-in. Race numbers (eKit) and event information are emailed in the week before the event. Transition areas require competitors to rack bikes in allocated category zones; only competitors may access transition, with one parent permitted for kids during set up and pack down.
Swim entries are staged one at a time and follow a buoyed zig-zag route; timing chips activate on pool entry. Bikes must be walked to the mount line and ridden single file on the left unless overtaking. Helmets must remain secured from bike removal to racking. The run courses are multi-lap and keep left unless overtaking, with drink stations available.
The event has an established fundraising relationship with the National Breast Cancer Foundation; fundraising is optional and has previously contributed over $2.8 million. Event rules note that headphones are not permitted for safety, and basic equipment suggestions are provided for each leg. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
