Triathlon Pink - Brisbane
Triathlon Pink takes place at Sleeman Sports Complex in Chandler as part of the 2026/2027 season. The event uses a pool swim and a closed road bike course. It is an event series founded for women and includes specific junior categories so families can attend.
Race formats and distances:
- Ultra: 600 m swim, 16 km bike, 7.5 km run
- Long: 300 m swim, 8 km bike, 5 km run
- Medium: 200 m swim, 6 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Short: 100 m swim, 4 km bike, 1 km run
- Kids 10 to 13 years: 100 m swim, 4 km bike, 1 km run
- Kids 7 to 9 years: 50 m swim, 1.7 km bike, 500 m run
- Fun runs: 10 km, 5 km, 2.5 km, 1 km
Event logistics include a transition area where competitors place bikes and gear; only competitors may access transition except one parent per child during set up and pack down. Swim entries proceed one at a time around buoys and timing chips activate on pool entry. Bike laps are ridden single file with left side riding unless overtaking. Event check in and a Tips and Tricks clinic are scheduled during the lead up to race day. Competitors receive a timing chip, race bib and event gift at check in. Fundraising for the National Breast Cancer Foundation is optional; Triathlon Pink has raised over $2.5 million for breast cancer causes.
