About the race
The Morecambe Half Marathon and 5k take place on 2 May 2027 at Bare Methodist Church Hall, St Margaret's Road LA4 6EF. The event offers two race distances and on-course views across the bay to the Lake District.

The route runs mostly flat along the promenade. There is a hill and an undulating section from miles 8 to 12 on the half marathon course. Medals are presented to all finishers and a T-shirt is provided to finishers in the half marathon.
Prizes are awarded to the first three male and the first three female finishers. There is also a prize for the first veteran in each category subject to entries.
Online entry fees (note some online portals may add a small fee): 5k : affiliated athletes £10, unaffiliated athletes £12, Lancaster Runner's Club £8. Half marathon : affiliated athletes £31, unaffiliated athletes £33, Lancaster Runner's Club £25.
Entries on the day are cash only. On-the-day fees are: 5k all athletes £15; half marathon affiliated £35, unaffiliated £35, Lancaster Runner's Club £30.
