Event overview
Morecambe Festival of Running is an HFC race held at Heysham Cricket Club, LA3 2RL. The event offers three distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- 10 mile
The course is an out-and-back route along Morecambe promenade with views across Morecambe Bay and toward the Lake District mountains. The 5k turn is near the Battery and the 10k turn is near the old Lifeboat station. Medals are awarded to all finishers. Entries, fees and policies
Online entry fees (examples shown): 5k affiliated £10, unaffiliated £12, Lancaster Runner's Club £8; 10k affiliated £21, unaffiliated £23, Lancaster Runner's Club £17; 10 mile affiliated £24, unaffiliated £26, Lancaster Runner's Club £20. Some online portals may add a small fee. Entries on the day are cash only, with different on-the-day prices for each distance (for example 5k unaffiliated £15; 10k unaffiliated £25; 10 mile unaffiliated £30).
