Morecambe Festival of Running
The Morecambe Festival of Running offers three distances on an out and back course along Morecambe prom. The event takes place at Heysham Cricket Club LA3 2RL on two dates in late 2026 and early 2027. The route provides views across Morecambe Bay and toward the Lake District mountains.

- 10 mile
All finishers receive a medal. The 5k turn is located near the Battery and the 10k turn is near the old Lifeboat station. The event holds UKA licence numbers, including #28796, #28307, #28248 and a January licence #29955.
Online entry fees vary by distance and athlete affiliation. Examples listed by the organiser include online prices:
- 5k: affiliated £10, unaffiliated £12, Lancaster Runner's Club £8.
- 10k: affiliated £24, unaffiliated £25, Lancaster Runner's Club £19.
- 10 mile: affiliated £26, unaffiliated £28, Lancaster Runner's Club £21. Some online portals may add a small additional fee.
