Moose on the Loose - Canada Day 5K

This is an in person 5K held at Jericho Beach Concession in Vancouver on Canada Day. The event is organized by Fit First Footwear with Cut Athletico and Rising Endurance. Entry is listed as free.

The program includes a group warm up, a mass start and an awards presentation followed by a post race social. Participants are asked to line up at seeding markers according to their expected finish time. Overall winners are determined by who crosses the finish line first.

Runners are asked to start their watches as they cross the start line. A running timer will be available for participants without a watch. Results will be verified using Strava before awards are given. Prizes are planned for podium finishers and for best dressed. Full Team Canada outfits are strongly encouraged.
