- 42K
- 29K
- 16K
The course starts and finishes at the West Bragg Creek day-use area and moves from rolling prairie into the foothills. Runners follow forested single and double-track on community-built trails that are part of a larger 150 km trail network in Kananaskis Country. The route passes near Moose Mountain, an 8,000-foot peak in the range.
The Moose Mountain Trail Races is described as Alberta’s oldest sanctioned trail race and has been held since 1992. The event has operated for over three decades and is organized as a grassroots trail running event.
All distances have the same entry fee of 160 $ CDN plus GST and applicable platform fees. Participants must be 18 years of age or older on race day. American Express and Discovery cards are not accepted. Lewiston Ultra Events does not offer refunds and does not maintain a waitlist. Bib transfers are allowed into distances other than the 50K; a 50K bib is required to run the 50K. Registration and distance transfers are permitted until August 9, 2027 at 8:00 AM for a 20 $ administration fee, after which no transfers are permitted.
