Moose Mountain Trail Races

Moose Mountain Trail Races is a trail running event in West Bragg Creek, Bragg Creek, Alberta, organized by Lewiston Ultra Events. The event offers four solo mountain trail distances and uses trails within the Kananaskis Country park system, starting and finishing at the West Bragg Creek day use area. Moose Mountain is a prominent feature of the route.

• 42KM
• 29KM
• 16KM

Each distance lists elevation gain and loss, trail surface, aid stations, and course cutoffs. Trail surfaces include both single track and double track. Aid stations are located at specified kilometre marks on the longer courses and at 8KM on the 16KM course. Course cutoffs are applied at aid stations and at the finish line; runners who miss cutoffs may be assisted off the mountain, redirected to the finish, or recorded as DNF depending on the situation. The 16KM distance notes a finish line cutoff for receipt of an official finish time and a finisher medal.

Entry and race policies are set by the organizer. All distances are listed with the same entry fee. Participants must be at least 18 years old on race day. Payment methods exclude American Express and Discovery. Lewiston Ultra Events does not offer refunds and there is no waitlist. Bib transfers are permitted with restrictions; a 50KM bib is required to enter the 50KM distance and transfers have a deadline and an administration fee.
