The Moose & Goose Wine Run 5k is scheduled for February 21, 2026 in Temple, Texas at Moose & Goose Winery (6300 Middle Rd B, Temple, TX 76501). The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk, professionally timed and scored by J3 Timing with results posted online.
Registration, entry and amenities
Registration includes a super-soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a chip-timed race bib. Registered participants receive a pour of wine; minors may register with a discounted fee but will not receive a wine glass or a wine pour. The event is open to ages 1 to 99. Packet pickup is race day only.
Virtual participation is offered either by picking up a packet and completing the 5k independently or by switching to the Virtual Wine Run with packet shipping for a $10 shipping and handling charge.
Awards, access and rules
Top three finishers male and female in each age group will receive custom age group awards. Age categories are organized in 10-year bands (for example 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, up to 80 and over). Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Dogs are not allowed on site.
