MoonPie Move Atlanta
MoonPie Move Atlanta is a themed running event scheduled for March 29, 2026, in the West End area of Atlanta. Organized by RunRhino, the event centers around the classic MoonPie marshmallow treat and offers several distances for participants. The race starts and finishes near El Tesoro West End, Wild Heaven, and White Street Southwest.
Participants can choose between three primary in-person distances:
- 5K - Also referred to as the Mini Moonpie Dash, this distance is intended for those seeking a shorter route.
- 10K - This mid-distance option is titled Double the Moonpie Fun.
- Half Marathon - Known as the Moonpie Marathoner, this course features scenic sections and specific checkpoints.
A virtual run option is also available for those unable to attend the physical location. All participants receive event-specific amenities, including a MoonPie-themed race shirt and a finisher's medal. Following the completion of their distance, runners are provided with a MoonPie snack. The race production is handled by a Chattanooga-based company with experience in various series, including the 7 Bridges Marathon and the Whiskey Run Series.
