Event overview
The Montezuma Festival of Races takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Montezuma Audubon Center in Savannah, NY (2295 NY-89, 13146). The festival includes in-person and virtual run events and benefits Friends of Montezuma.Org. Course and logistics
The half marathon is mostly on paved roads with a couple of miles on packed dirt trails near the outskirts of Howland Island. The 10K and 5K are run entirely on paved roads. Course maps are provided for all run events.
Hydration stations are located along the on-course routes and medical personnel will be on site. Runners are advised to be prepared with personal hydration. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 3:00-5:00 pm at the Montezuma Audubon Center; race day packet pickup begins Sunday at 7:00 am at the same location.
